MY ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
My olive groves are located in Val D'Orcia, precisely in the territories of the
Torrenieri, Manoniccola and Pereti estates. Even though they are all located in the same area
the olives that are harvested there have small organoleptic differences between them,
resulting in three very high quality oils with different tastes and scents.

WHO I AM
My name is Alessandro Capitoni, I am a lover of good wine and good food.
Entrepreneur in the hotel business since 1987 and today,
producer of extra virgin olive oil in 3 municipalities in the Val d’Orcia.
My father, Ivo, was a far better farmer than me, very skilled with olive trees,
I always tried to escape from that world, so I followed in the footsteps
of my relatives in the hotel business: training in the field and a career in hospitality.
Until, I had to get back into farming, having taken over a farm.
If managing 700 olive trees, a vegetable garden and a few hens had been
a problem in the beginning, it has now become a real passion that has brought me back
not only into the world of agriculture, but which has made me build a real
real business in the field.
To date my production counts:
– 5 olive groves subdivided into three territories in the Val d’Orcia:
Pereti, Torrenieri, Manoniccola and Cosonella
– Organic honey
– Balsamic vinegar
– Organic saffron harvested and produced by one of the largest growers in Tuscany: Egisto Brandi
